Ádela
Visual Identity
EN Ádela is a small portuguese village surrounded by nature, home of a population full of personality. Throughout the year, many artists give music to the paths that traverse this village, from cicadas to cuckoos, to the owl that watches the cheeky boar in search for food. A village that dresses in many shades and people that add a common good to it, the love that they have for this corner. The main purpose of creating a graphic identity for Ádela is to energize the village and immortalize its image. Ádela is not the first dwelling of all Adelenses and therefore, it is only visited by some during the holidays. For the rest of the year, these people miss this place. So, the merchandising line aims to fulfill the emotional purpose and also to contribute to generate some value for Ádela's Improvement Commission. The logo is simple and illustrative, representing the 3 main characteristics of the village: its highest point, the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Luz; the pines, symbolizing the nature; the people's houses and also the agriculture. It allows everyone to capture the essence of Ádela, which can be different for each of its inhabitants.
